Halloween happened. It started with the pumpkin carving for Family Home Evening. Each child did all their own gut scraping and carving. They all did a great job. I have some pretty creative and independent children.
Later that night we went out Trick-or-Treating for real. First we did a few houses in my parent's neighborhood, then came back and did our block with some of our neighborhood friends. When all was said and done we had a pile of fat, lard and sugar sitting on our counter top. I didn't even have a bowl big enough to put it all in, so I had to go get a tote!

Halloween growing up in UT was so great! I remember all the skads of kids running around our neighborhood trick-or-treating and tons of visitors at our door! Yours looks just as magical and your boys are so good at letting you take their pictures!
What is that ANIMAL laying in your big pile of candy?? Now THAT'S scary!
Looks like another FUN Halloween-I have great memories of all you kids getting ready on Halloween night to go out Trick-or-Treating...sitting up on the cupboard getting on your face make-up or getting your hair fixed and costumes on...where did the years go??
Miss you guys. I'm glad you had a fun Halloween! Your jack-o-lanters turned out great!
